Characterisation of a DNA hydrogel viscosity by an integrated optofluidic microrheometer

Here we present a novel microrheometer able to provide reliable measurements of extremely low volume fluids. We demonstrate the transition from Newtonian to non-Newtonian behavior in a DNA hydrogel whose structure is strongly temperature dependent.
