Spectral and Spatial Uplink Interference Filtering

Two affordable interference protection techniques for uplink multiple beam antennas are described. Adaptive excision spectrally filters high level uplink interference to maintain system linearity. Adaptive spatial filtering applies amplitude monopulse techniques to excision data to locate interference and commands antenna pattern nulls aligned with interference using known antenna data.
