Studies on classification of grassland by remote sensing technology on XIANGHUANG Banner in INNER MONGOLIA

The application of remote sensing technology in the grassland resource survey are analyzed, the whole process to extract the information of grassland using TM image is described, which include geometric correction, mosaic, feature extraction and selection of the region of interest. The image is classified using unsupervised classification and supervised classification, and results of the classification are tested.
