Clinical Observation on 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 and irbesartan treatment of diabetic nephropathy

2014
Objectives To investigate the 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 and irbesartan treatment of diabetic nephropathy.Observation 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 on serum creatinine in patients with DN,serum TGF-β1,urine protein and other effects. Methods 50 patients with type 2 DN.Randomly divided into two treatment groups:A group of 25 cases of irbesartan treatment group,B group 25 cases of 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 and irbesartan treatment group, the two groups of patients before and after 24h urine protein,HbAlc,creatinine, blood urea nitrogen, serum TGF-β1 test results. Two groups were compared for differences related parameters, while the correlation analysis of relevant parameters. Results Group B patients 24h urine protein, creatinine, blood urea nitrogen, serum TGF-β1,urinary NAG was significantly lower in group A(P < 0.05).Serum TGF-β1 and urine NAG,24h urine protein was positively correlated(P < 0.01).Conclusions 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 and irbesartan can significantly relieve urinary protein in patients with diabetic nephropathy, urinary NAG,lowered blood levels of TGF-β1,delaying progress of renal dysfunction.
