A method for setting a brush seal element in a groove of a housing segment

The invention relates to a method for setting a brush sealing element (14) in a groove (24) of a housing segment (26) for a thermal turbomachine, in particular for a gas turbine, the method comprising at least the steps of securing the brush seal element (14) (in a receiving space 12 ) comprises a unitary receptacle member (10), placing the female element (10) in the groove (24) of the housing segment (26) and securing position of the receiving element (10) on the housing segment (26). The invention further relates to a sealing system for a housing segment (26) of a thermal turbomachine and a receiving element (10) for such a sealing system.
