THE APPLICATION OF WETLAND INFORMATION EXTRACTION IN THE UPPER AND MIDDLE BASIN OF YELLOW RIVER BASED ON REMOTE SENSING AND GIS TECHNIQUE

In this paper,based on the test-area ETM+ image data's features of the upper and middle basin of Yellow river,RS imagery Geometric Correction and fusion is disposed using RS and GIS software.The information of wetland based on interpretation multi—source RS data,expert system of image interpretation and GIS technology is extracted.The case study shows that the total accuracy of wetland extraction is 88.11% and Kappa index is 0.8764. The accuracy from this method is above 20% than the method of extraction based on super- vised classification.At the same time,the result from this method is very reasonable and it can provide decision supports for ecological and environmental sustainable development of the upper and middle basin of Yellow river.
