The invention discloses a method for increasing the foundation bearing capacity. The method is characterized in that a vacuum preloading technology and a grouting technology are organically integrated, a vacuum state is formed in the stratum of a soft soil foundation by utilizing a vacuum pump in a vacuum water draining system, the technical condition of vacuum preloading is reached through controlling the vacuum degree of the stratum, and prepared grout is grouted in the stratum in a reasonable time; on one hand, the stratum negative pressure caused by vacuum is fully utilized, the grout can be more easily permeated in the stratum within a control time, the space occupied by stratum pore water (the stratum pore water is drained due to vacuum water draining) is filled, the strength is increased after concretion consolidation, thus the bearing capacity of the soft soil foundation is effectively increased, the consolidation settlement amount caused by the vacuum water loss can be simultaneously reduced, the consolidation rate can be effectively quickened, and the processing rate can be increased; and on the other hand, the vacuum state in the stratum is utilized, thus the grout can be conveniently permeated in the stratum, and the energy consumption is reduced.
