Sputtering resistance, heat resistance, and the photopolymerizable liquid crystal composition adhesion between the negative C plate can form a good positive A plate, an optical compensation film using the same, an optical compensation film stack, the electrode substrate, for a liquid crystal device providing a substrate and a liquid crystal device. An optical compensation film for forming having a positive uniaxial anisotropy, monofunctional photopolymerizable liquid crystal having one photopolymerizable reactive groups with (A), bifunctional photopolymerizable having two photopolymerizable reactive groups photopolymerizable liquid crystal composition comprising a liquid crystal (B). The optical compensation film stack 12 is provided with an optical compensation film 12A showing a negative uniaxial anisotropy, and an optical compensation film 12B having a positive uniaxial anisotropy produced using the above composition.
