A Spectrum Hole Detection Method Based on Cyclic-statistic in Cognitive Radio

Spectrum hole detection is the key technology of cognitive radio.This paper proposes a new spectrum hole detection scheme based on the cyclic-statistic according to the cyclostationarity of the primary user signal.The binary hypothesis test model is constructed,and the explicit formula of the test statistic is derived.Simulation results have proved that this scheme can distinguish the primary user signal from noise and interference effectively,and is superior to the energy detection under low SNR.
