Analysis of the effect of magnetic anisotropy on the coercive force of amorphous alloys with near-zero magnetostriction
1998
Theoretical description of the effect of macroscopic and local magnetic anisotropy on the coercive force H c of amorphous alloys with near-zero magnetostriction is presented. The analysis concerns two types of centers of domain-wall pinning, resulting in different dependences of H c on the macroscopic magnetic anisotropy constant. The theoretical conclusion on the presence of a minimum in the H c dependence on the squareness of the hysteresis loop is experimentally confirmed.
