It relates to a triazole compound of APJ agonist receptor formula I or II or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, a tautomer thereof, a stereoisomer where: R1 is pyridyl, pyridonyl, among others; R2 is -H or C1-C4 alkyl or is absent as in formula II; R3 is a C1-C10 alkyl optionally substituted by R3a and R3a is other where -F, -Cl, -CN, among others; R4 is C6-C10 monocyclic or bicyclic, a monocyclic or bicyclic heteroaryl group, among others. Preferred are compounds: (1R, 2S) -N- (4- (2,6-dimethoxyphenyl) -5- (6-methoxy-2-pyridinyl) -4H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl) - 1-methoxy-1- (5-methyl-2-pyrimidinyl) -2-propanesulfonamide, among others. The present invention is useful for the treatment of cardiovascular conditions such as the chronic heart failure among others.
