High-Efficiency and High-Gain Swastik Shape Slotted Microstrip planar Antenna with Suspended Ground for 5G Wireless Applications

This work proposes a novel antenna design for mm wave applications. The proposed antenna has been designed on a Rogers RO3003 (lossy) substrate and the patch has been made of copper (annealed). The Front patch of the antenna has been incorporated with various slots to improve the antenna parameters such as S-Parameter, VSWR and Efficiency. The ground of the antenna has also been modified and incorporated with slots to further enhance parameters like Gain and Directivity. The current design of the proposed antenna has been obtained after various modifications on the antenna structure to obtain the best results possible. The various parameters of the antenna have been simulated using the Computer Simulation Technology (CST).
