Optimal impulsive harvesting strategy of a stochastic Gompertz model in periodic environments

Abstract This research focuses on optimal impulsive harvesting strategy of a stochastic Gompertz model with periodic coefficients. By investigating the associated Hamilton function, the explicit expressions of the optimal impulsive effort, the maximum annual yield and the expectation of the optimal population level are provided. The theoretical results are also utilized to investigate the optimal impulsive harvesting strategy of scallop (Pecten maximus) fishery in the Saint Brieuc Bay, France.
