Thermal conductivity of alluvial sediments from the Ness Formation, Oseberg Area, North Sea

1996
Samples of alluvial sediments from the Ness Formation in the Oseberg area were investigated. This formation is known to be heterolithic as deposition took place in a general coastal / deltaic plain setting where back-barrier, lagoonal and alluvial depositional environments have been recognised. It is also characterised by extensive coal layers.
