Design of Main Circuit System of 4 200kW Synchronous Motor

Taking the main circuit controlled by 4200kW AC-AC variable frequency synchronous motor for an example,the diagram of main circuit was described in this paper.The parameters of the main circuit were calculated and the main rectifier transformer,thyristor,excitation transformer and thyristor excitation's parameter selection method were given according to the technical parameters of main circuit of the synchronous motor which provided a reference for large-scale transformation of the main drive motor in other domestic steel enteriprises.
