Мотив «Родства с человечеством» в лирике Б. Л. Пастернака (на материале книги «Второе рождение»)

2012
The article is dedicated to the motif of' Kinship with Humanity” in the lyrics of B.L. Pasternak. The author traces the motif to Pasternak's belief in the unity of the World as an intersubjective integrity provided by the single will of the Creator. Three variants of the motif are singled out in Pasternak's book “The Second Birth” (1932): 1) kinship of the lyric subject with women who incarnate the Eternal Feminine; 2) kinship of the lyric subject with great authors (who lived in other space and time) through their works; 3) kinship of the lyric subject with Christ as an ideal person. On the formal level the motif is expressed by means of intertextuality and confusion of times that are also described in the article. Thanks to the kinship, the lyric subject realize that he must take the sins of his generation upon himself and atone these sins by his own suffering or even death. However, his hard creative work gives him immortality in his own poems.
