Quality Control of Dual-head SPECT

Objective To investigate the testing methods for chief performances in quality control(QC)of dual-head SPECT.Methods With 99mTc point source,bar phantom and Jaszczak phantom in accordance with the NEMA standard,performances testing was done as to energy peak position,energy resolution,CFOV intrinsic integral uniformity,intrinsic spatial resolution and linearity,system sensitivity,and ECT uniformity,resolution etc.Results All the QC results from June,2007 to June,2009 were acceptable.Conclusion Reasonable QC methods can keep the SPECT machine in good condition,and provide good image.
