Technique of mapping and a legend for geological-morphological maps of the moon on a scale of 1:1,000,000

A methodology is developed for interpreting telescopic and other pictures of the lunar surface for the purpose of indicating rock complexes and structures of various ages on geological-morphological rocks of the moon. The classification of lunar craters and other features according to age is discussed, as well as morphological signs.
