Temporal coherent control in Er3+-doped telluride glass

Abstract We have applied the temporal coherent control in Er 3+ -doped telluride glass, which is a kind of disordered solids. At 13 K temperature, The upconversion at 670 nm is modulated and the dephasing time is simulated as 300 fs. Moreover, the photon echo signal gives the dephasing time determined by the phonon interaction. The reason for the fast disappearance of wavepackets interference has been discussed.
