Nanoparticles based Plasmonic Biosensor

We demonstrated an LSPR nanobiosensor in a colloidal solution of Au nanoparticles, for the binding between monoclonal antibody anti-T. solium and vesicular fluid from T. solium antigen. The sensor response had a limit detection of 0.06μg/mL, for antigen concentrations between 0.1 to 2.0 μg/mL, with potential for Neurocysticercosis diagnosis.
