Corneal foreign body clinical analysis of 521 cases

Objective:To analyze the clinical characteristics of corneal foreign bodies.Methods:From most corneal foreign bodies in the past 3 years were 521 cases (534 eyes) were retrospectively analyzed the nature of the foreign body,clinical characteristics,treatment,complications,and eyesight were analyzed.Results:521 cases (534 eyes) in patients with corneal foreign bodies,male 487 cases (93.47%),female 34 cases (6.53%),mean age 34 years,were the main occupation for workers (75.05%),foreign body injury to iron (at 59.36%).Foreign body heat due to the strong,214 cases (41.07%) in 1 of treatment,after treatment,visual acuity improved or remained unchanged,a small number of injuries before the fall.Conclusion:Of corneal foreign bodies is a common eye disease,mostly for labor occurs inadvertently,to strengthen preventive reduce its occurrence,timely and correct treatment after injury may be a good prognosis.
