Controllable coherent plasmon-exciton interaction in MoS2 monolayer with gold nanorods through photothermal reshaping
2019
The plasmon-exciton interactions in an individual gold nanorod with MoS2 monolayer were investigated with single particle spectroscopy method. The scattering spectrum of the hybrid exhibit resonance dips corresponding to the A and B exciton of MoS2 monolayer. Based on photothermal reshaping, we in-situ tuned the surface plasmon resonance of single gold nanorod and investigate plasmon–exciton RET from single gold nanorod to monolayer MoS2 at room temperature. These results open up a novel route for the manipulation of plasmon resonance to realize strong plasmon−exciton interaction for all-solid-state system operating at room temperature.
