The Holocene history of soil development in coastal lowlands of northern Yakutia

Two different trends of soil development within the coastal lowlands of northern Yakutia can be distinguished in the Holocene. The character of these trends was predetermined by the differences in heat supply and the degree of drainage of the territory in the Early and Late Holocene. Several models of soil development on local interfluves are suggested.
