The article is devoted to the British and American logoepistems linguocultural valuable units of different levels, the notion of which can be transmitted by the word, word combination or other syntactical groups. Their source is mass media and mass culture. The article also dwells upon one of the particular features of logoepistems their ability to change (or periphrasis).
