The present invention provides preparation and use of an artificial graphite as a carrier lithium silicon carbon composite anode material. The method comprises nano-silicon, artificial graphite dispersing agent was dissolved to obtain a homogeneous dispersion after, adding organic carbon source, after a uniform mixture is stirred into a closed cycle spray dryer preparing a composite precursor powders, then 300 ~ calcined at 700 ℃ 3 ~ 10h, to obtain a silicon-carbon composite material coated with carbon; and then coated with a carbon-carbon composite material of silicon and carbon further dissolved in the organic dispersing agent, and stirred to obtain a homogeneous mixture, the homogeneous mixture was subjected to a second closed cycle spray composite powder prepared, 6 ~ 18h followed by heating at 700 ~ 1000 ℃, finally obtained silicon carbon-supported lithium anode material of the artificial graphite composite. Preparation of lithium battery of the present invention obtained silicon-carbon composite negative electrode material was applied to a lithium battery, exhibits high initial charge and discharge efficiency, high specific capacity and good cycle performance and other excellent electrochemical properties.
