Influence of electrolyte composition on electrochemical dissolution of 1Cr18Ni9Ti steel in acid media

1996
Anodic dissolution of 1Cr18N19Ti steel was investigated under potentiodynamic, potentiostatic, and galvanostatic conditions in electrolyte solutions containing various concentrations of sulfuric acid, iron, chromium, and nickel sulfates, and hydrofluoric acid. Potentiodynamic polarization curves were used to determine the limiting current densities and potentials at which electrochemical dissolution of 1Cr18Ni9Ti steel can proceed.
