Low-solidifying-point foaming agent for oilfield operation

2015
The invention relates to a low-solidifying-point foaming agent for oilfield operation. The foaming agent is compounded from polyoxyethylene fatty alcohol sodium sulfate (ASE), cocamidopropyl betaine (CAB), an anionic polymer, glycerol and water. The synergistic action of the AES and CAB increases the foam yield. The anionic polymer added into the compounded system enhances the strength of the foam liquid film, thereby further enhancing the foam stability. The added glycerol lowers the solidifying point of the system to -15 DEG C below, and does not influence the stability of the foaming agent. In the preferable scheme, the low-solidifying-point foaming agent for oilfield operation is composed of the following components in percentage by mass: 24.5% of ASE, 1.4% of CAB, 0.35% of anionic polymer, 30% of glycerol and 43.75% of water. The foaming agent has the advantages of favorable foaming property, high stability, simple preparation process and the like, is convenient to use, and can be well applied in field and especially in a low-temperature environment.
