Methods for the estimation of receptor capacity of cyclic AMP-dependent protein kinases

Abstract The dissociation of cyclic AMP-dependent protein kinase to give two catalytic subunits results in data for the binding reaction that cannot be interpreted by the method of Scatchard. Linear plots that allow determination of total receptor capacity and equilibrium association constant are described.
