Mössbauer study of the microwave/magnetic desulfurization of yutianbao coal

1990
Mossbauer effect was used to study the transformations of Fe−S compounds in coal before and after microwave irradiation/magnetic separation. Calculated results for phase analyses show that the inorganic sulfur content of coal is decreased with 24% during microwave treatment, and an 91% decrease is achieved by a successive magnetic separation.
