염화마그네슘계 제설제가 강재부식성 및 콘크리트 동결융해저항성에 미치는 영향

2007
Use of deicing chemicals has been and will continue to be a major part of highway snow and ice control methods. In domestic, calcium chloride(CaCb), sodium chloride (NaC]) has been applied. However, chloride-containing deicer may cause fatal effect to corrosion of rebar and scaling on cement concrete surface with freezing-thawing cycles. Also, it reduces durability and performance of concrete. In this study, the damage caused by deicers on concrete and steel were investigated by accelerated freezing-thawing cycles and corrosion performance test, comparing specimen using magnesium chloride containing(MCC) with specimens using existing deiciers such as calcium chloride(CaCh) and sodium chloride (NaCl). As a test results, the ice melting performance of magnesium chloride containing deicer was superior more than that of existing deicers. However, the damage on concrete by magnesium chloride containing was similar to the damage by existing deicers. Also, the weight loss of the steel due to corrosion of magnesium chloride containing deicer was similar to the corrosion content caused by existing deicers.
