The invention discloses a highway vehicle-vehicle coordinated control device and a control method. The device comprises GPS chips, wireless receiving and transmitting module ZigBees, microprocessors, a power supply and liquid crystal displays. In the running process, the wireless receiving and transmitting module ZigBees communicate with each other to establish a network; the GPS chips receive position signals transmitted by a satellite, and transmit information to each other in the local area network established by the ZigBees; and the microprocessors receive and display the images of the vehicles around the microprocessors. The method comprises the following steps: when the highway is foggy or the road surface is covered with ice and snow, the manager can specify the running speed and the interval between vehicles according to specific circumstances, so that the vehicles running on the highway can form an array fleet. By the aid of the vehicle images displayed by the device, the specified running speed and the interval between vehicles can be kept, so that the array fleet can safely run at low speed, thereby ensuring the opening of the highway in all weathers.
