Magnetospheric VLF Waves Observed by DE-1

Wide-band electric field data (650 Hz – 40 kHz)from Dynamics Explorer (DE–1) of high altitude polar orbiter have been received at Kashima, Japan from July, 1986 to January, 1990. Since August 1989, unmanned remote automatic operation of 11 m antenna at Kashima has been conducted from Koganei, Tokyo about 100 km west of Kashima to receive VLF wave data from the DE-1 by two personal computers at the both places through 7.5 GHz telephone circuit.
