Isobutane alkylation. Recent developments and future perspectives

Abstract In the isobutane alkylation, alkylated gasoline is obtained which is a valuable blending component for the gasoline pool. Thereby the C 3 –C 4 cut from the FCC units can be extensively used. Established technologies and recent developments will be reviewed and future perspectives will be given.
