Device for anastomosis

The invention relates to a device for anastomosis, comprising a tubular element made of biocompatible and resorbable material having a plurality of pores in the surface thereof. In a preferred embodiment, the device according to the invention is covered with a coating made of a material selected from the group consisting of agar, agarose hydrogel, gelatin, chitosan, hyaluronic acid, alginates, carrageenans, fibrin, or any of the combinations thereof. More preferably, the biocompatible and resorbable material is collagen.
