The invention relates to a blade (10) of a turbomachine, in particular a gas turbine, with a blade tip to a (13) of a blade applied (11) blade tip armor (14). According to the invention the blade tip armor (14) of a coating (15) subjected to the applied one or more, in repetition on the blade tip armor (14) multi-layer coating systems (16) is formed, wherein each of the applied once or in repetition multilayer systems (16) at least has two different layers, namely a blade tip armor to be coated facing layer (17) made of a metal material and a layer (20) made of a ceramic material.
