Far side airbag device for vehicle

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to stabilization of a deployment behavior of a far side airbag.SOLUTION: A far side airbag device 10 for a vehicle is configured so that a far side airbag 38 fixed to a seat back frame 20 using a stud bolt 46 of an inflator 40, has a bag part 56 on a facing surface 38A of the seat back frame 20 which faces a side surface 20S. A support plate 54 fixed to the seat back frame 20 using the stud bolt 46, is held to the bag part 56. The support plate 54 is formed to become longer in both sides of a vehicle vertical direction relative to the inflator 40, and is engaged to the seat back frame 20 on a vehicle upper side relative to the inflator 40. The support plate 54 supports the far side airbag 38 at both sides of the vehicle vertical direction of the inflator 40, during expansion deployment of the far side airbag 38. Therefore, vibration of the far side airbag 38 in vertical parts, can be reduced during expansion deployment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
