Collaborating to create value: The CIMIT model

Creating medtech products and services that actually help patients and generate value requires many things to go right. At the least, it requires that an important unmet need be identified; a viable technology be available; delivery systems be in place; regulatory requirements be satisfactorily addressed; economic and reimbursement structures that enable a sustainable business model; and a team of committed people who are (irrationally?) persistent and passionate about making it a reality... and some luck. Simple!
