High frequency planar accelerating structures for future linear colliders

We propose the use on asymmetric planar structure to accelerate a flat beam for use in the new generation of linear colliders. We make a comparison between a planar accelerating structure and a disk‐loaded, cylindrically‐symmetric accelerating structure having the same group velocity (vg/i A0.06). (AIP)
