A Survey of VLBI Technique for Deep Space Exploration and Trend in China Current Situation and Development

Very Long Baseline Interferometry(VLBI) technique is currently one of hot spot research topics in the domain of Deep Space Exploration.A main advantage of the VLBI technique is that it can track space probe in great far distance with tremendously high angular resolution.Taking this advantage,VLBI technique will be widely used in the future deep space Exploration missions.According to the investigation of a bibliography of several dozens papers,this paper presents a comprehensive review of the recent development and the basic principle of the VLBI technique for deep space Exploration,some analysis and discussion on research challenges and future directions in this field are also provided.And finally current situation and development trend of VLBI technique are briefly introduced.
