Spodumene treating method

The invention discloses a spodumene treating method. The spodumene treating method comprises the steps that spodumene is transformed and roasted to obtain a transformed and roasted material; the transformed and roasted material is finely grinded and then is mixed with concentrated sulfuric acid, and acidification and roasting are performed to obtain an acidified and roasted clinker and produce acid-containing tail gas; the acidified and roasted clinker is leached to obtain leached slurry; the leached slurry is purified through filtrate obtained after filtration, and accordingly purified liquid is obtained; the purified liquid and a sodium carbonate solution are mixed for lithium precipitation, and lithium carbonate and a lithium precipitation mother solution are obtained through separation; lithium carbonate precipitate is dried to obtain a lithium carbonate product; the lithium precipitation mother solution is utilized to conduct absorbing treatment on the acid-containing tail gas, alkali in the lithium precipitation mother solution can be fully utilized to neutralize acid in the acid-containing tail gas, and finally sodium sulfate in the lithium precipitation mother solution is recovered in a centralized mode, and a side product sodium sulfate is obtained. By adopting the method, excessive sodium sulfate in the lithium carbonate precipitation mother solution is utilized to neutralize the acid-containing tail gas, accordingly waste utilization of the acid-containing tail gas is achieved, and meanwhile standard-reaching discharge of the acid-containing tail gas is achieved.
