Electrophilic reactions of 2-chloroperfluoro-1,3-butadiene

Abstract Electrophilic chlorofluorination and bromofluorination of 2-chloroperfluoro-1,3-butadiene ( 1 ) have been found to occur exclusively at the 1,4-positions and regioselectively. Under mild conditions, diene 1 interacts with SbF 5 to form vinyl derivatives of antimony.
