Radio astronomy network and geodesy for development project: The 40-m Thai national radio telescope

2017 
Radio Astronomy Network and Geodesy for Development (RANGD) Project by National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT) has been approved for year 2017–2021 with human capacity building as the main objective. Among several skills-developing activities, 40-m and 13-m radio telescopes are to be constructed as future national facilities. Missions of RANGD project include research development in radio astronomy, Earth sciences and advanced engineering. Current status and project timeline will be reported.
