Tratamiento del retinoblastoma y sus complicaciones: Un estudio a largo plazo

We check 61 patients affected of retinoblastoma during the last 20 years, in the Dep. of Ophthalmology of the «Hospital Infantil de la C. S. La Fe». After doing a superficial description of the clinical and diagnosis technics used, we orientate our work to the valoration of the therapeutic schema follow by the Oncologic Committee of this Hospital. We ex pose the results we have obtained during this period of time, as the complications appear during the treatment. Finally we insist in the importance that a precocious diagnosis has and the periodic controls after the initial treatment.
