An approach to scenario simulation for urban spatial structure planning: A case of Langao County

According to the method of the empirical research and qualitative analysis,the general processes were studied for urban spatial structure planning based on the scenario analysis.The scenario analysis included five stages: background analysis,factor identification,scenario simulation,testing evaluation and strategies defining.A new spatial pattern model of 'a central urban area,two external tours' was introduced to study the Langao County.The scenario planning method for urban spatial structure analysis made the planning more seriousness and flexibility.The model was of great significance to solve the uncertainty problem of the development of urban space.
