Information superiority in the context of XXI century

Through this article we aim to present the role of information and the manner in which information superiority affects decision-making development, planning and operational management of actions taken within each organization. Increasing the role of information structures in XXI century conflicts is strictly related to conventional and especially unconventional conflicts physiognomy. The dangers and risks, particularly in the category of asymmetric conflicts, imposes the restructuring, transformation, developing and training of these forces to be able to meet the objectives. We are certainly in the face of unprecedented challenges of crisis and war developments highlighting new ways of conflict evolution, anticipating the major role that information confrontation will acquire. It is this beginning of the millennium challenge that induces the need of a more sustained focus on preparing the new type of war in which information confrontation is a success factor.
