Aim Presentation of the spontaneous avulsion of an epiretinal membrane. Case report A 21-y-old patient with a visual acuity of 6/6 suffered from a macular pucker. Over the course of five years, this epiretinal membrane dissolved from the retinal surface. This process was documented photographically and with the Heidelberg Retina Tomograph.
