The technical scheme of the invention can be adopted to recognize the virtual machine, further manage the virtual machine, such as configuration of a security policy, and the like and overcome the defects of virtual machine recognition incapability by the network equipment in the prior art, and is beneficial to wholly improving the management efficiency of the network equipment to the virtual machine.
