Analisis Pengaruh Penggunaan Elektroda Pentanahan Bentuk Pelat Terhadap Rugi-Rugi Transformator.

For protection purpose, grounding system is applied to power equipment, electrical network and even conduct loads such as machine and other component that can cause electric shock. Power equipment include generator, busbar and transformer grounding system has side effect while in normal operation. An unbalanced loads at secunder side of transformer can flow the electric current to grounding through netral wire. It can cause transformer losses. In this research, it will be analysis effect of plate electrode applying to transformer losses. The data was collect from PUIL 1987 an the analisys by using some formulas. The result will be compare to other electrode such rod and ribbon electrode. From the result it was find, that for plate electrode that plan in 1 meter depth 1×0,5m dimension by N ampere current assumption transformer losses 4,682927 Watt. Other result for plate electrode 10 meters plantation (possible realization than 100 meters), less transformer losses was found. It was 2,663415 Watt.
