Paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria (PNH) is an uncommon haemolytic disease in which two main clinical manifestations occur: chronic intravascular haemolysis and diffuse venous thrombosis. We report a case of PNH in which widespread venous thromboses of the splanchnic district and acute renal failure occurred together
