Granulating process of isomaltulose

2012
The invention relates to a granulating process of isomaltulose. The process comprises the following steps of: A. mixing: adding a concentrated solution of the isomaltulose slowly into dispersed isomaltulose powder, mixing the powder and the solution fully, and controlling the temperature of the concentrated solution of the isomaltulose to be 100 DEG C-120 DEG C; B. granulating and straightening granules: wetting mixed powder-shaped materials gradually, smashing the materials fully into granules through stirring and shearing effects, so that wet granules with fixed sizes and stable spherical shapes are formed, and meanwhile eddy current generated in high-speed rotation enables the granules to be collided, extruded and abraded mutually, and the granules are much uniform and fine; and C. aging: guiding wet granules into another device with stirring, introducing hot air, controlling the temperature to be 60 DEG C-90 DEG C, aging for 2-4 hours, and cooling down to 30 DEG C below. According to the invention, hard isomaltulose granules with compact structures can be obtained, have good mobility, are low hygroscopicity and high in storage stability, and have much good economical value.
